Programs
The Northeast Florida Community Action Agency has achieved success through its services and programs that promote self-sufficiency. The agency strives to increase education, housing standards and encourage greater community involvement. Other programs assist low-income individuals in emergency situations and provide guidance, support and encouragement to youth and members of the vulnerable population.
There is no charge for these services. Northeast Florida Community Action Agency is publicly funded, through federal, state, and local governments and supplemented by private grants and gifts from local corporations and citizens.
Eligibility
The Northeast Florida Community Action Agency, Inc. assists low-income persons as specified by the Poverty Guidelines of the Federal Government.
