Weatherization
The Northeast Florida Community Action Agency performs weatherization methods to homes to help lower the cost of utility bills. The Agency is able to visit eligible homes to test air circulation and improve heating and air condition methods, replace or repair insulation, among other unique and beneficial energy-saving strategies. Some of these services are:
- Air filter repair or replacement
- Showerhead repair or replacement
- Water heater wrap
- Duct system repair
- Water line insulation
- Caulking around windows and vents
- Floor insulation
- Minor ceiling repair
- Interior and exterior door treatments
- Screen replacement
- Window repair or replacement
- Disposal fees
- Health and safety hazard abatement
